Merimbula Jazz Festival Giveaway – Terms & Conditions
 

Promotion conducted by Merimbula Tourism Inc in partnership with Merimbula Jazz Festival.
 

1. Promotion Period

The promotion opens at 9:00am AEST on Wednesday 13 May 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on Wednesday 27 May 2026.

Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.
 

2. Eligibility

Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.

Employees, volunteers, committee members, contractors, and immediate family members associated with Merimbula Tourism Inc or The Merimbula Jazz Festival are not eligible to enter.
 

3. How to Enter

To enter the promotion, entrants must during the Promotion Period:

• Follow both the Visit Merimbula and Merimbula Jazz Festival Facebook pages; OR

• Follow both the Visit Merimbula and Merimbula Jazz Festival Instagram accounts
   

AND

• Complete the official online entry form including:

  • Full name

  • Phone number

  • Email address

  • Relevant Facebook or Instagram username(s)
     

Only one entry per person is permitted.
 

Entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, or do not meet the entry requirements will be deemed invalid.
 

4. Prize

The prize consists of:

One (1) Double Jazz Lover Long Weekend Pass to the 2026 Merimbula Jazz Festival

Total prize value: AUD $240.

The pass includes access to festival performances from 5:00pm Friday 5 June 2026 across the entire long weekend at participating festival venues.
 

The prize does not include:

• Accommodation

• Workshops

• Transport or travel expenses

• Meals or beverages

• Any other personal expenses

The prize is not redeemable for cash.
 

If the winner is unable to attend, the pass may be transferred to another person provided The Merimbula Jazz Festival is notified prior to the event.
 

5. Winner Selection

The winner will be selected via random online draw on Thursday 28 May 2026.

The draw will be conducted by Merimbula Tourism Inc at the Merimbula Visitor Information Centre.
 

6. Winner Notification and Redraw

The winner will be contacted via phone and/or email using the details provided at entry.

If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, or is found to be ineligible, a redraw may take place at the Merimbula Visitor Information Centre.
 

7. Publication of Winner

The winner’s first name and location may be published on Visit Merimbula and Merimbula Jazz Festival social media channels and promotional platforms.

By entering the competition, entrants consent to the use of their name and image for promotional purposes associated with this promotion.
 

8. Privacy and Marketing Consent

By entering this promotion, entrants consent to their personal information being collected and used by Merimbula Tourism Inc and The Merimbula Jazz Festival for:

• administering the competition;

• contacting the winner; and

• future marketing communications.

Entrants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

Personal information will not be sold to third parties.
 

9. Social Media Disclaimer

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.

By entering, entrants release Facebook and Instagram from any responsibility associated with this promotion.

10. General

Merimbula Tourism Inc and The Merimbula Jazz Festival reserve the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or breaches these Terms & Conditions.

If the promotion cannot proceed for any reason beyond reasonable control, the promoters reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the promotion where necessary.
