PAMBULA BEACH

Beautiful Pambula Beach, or "PB", as it's known locally,  one of our most accessible beaches and famous for it's kangaroos, surfing and swimming.  Pambula Beach is patrolled during school holidays and is home to our local Surf Lifesaving Club - PSLSC.

Much-loved Pambula Beach is about 10km south of Merimbula. Head to the bustling village of Pambula and then turn left and travel via Pambula Beach Road to the carpark and Surf Club.

A great little surf beach when the conditions are right, bring the boards for a bit of fun. But if the waves aren't happening it's an excellent place for a swim or to take a long beach walk.

You can walk all the way to Merimbula along this beach, or another option is to cycle on low tide.

Walk up along the cliffs and headland to Lions Park Beach and the River Mouth, with plenty of viewing spots along the way, perfect for spotting whales during the season (August to November).

Don't forget to keep an eye out for pods of dolphins all year around!
