About the Event
The Telepathetics (Clare and Steve Fitzgerald, piano and percussion) have arranged themselves in an old musical fashion since their inception 13 years ago. Stretching themselves like butter over too much bread, across a range of instrumental and stylistic disciplines, they have performed on stages in Canberra and the Far South Coast alongside friends and acquaintances such as Stuart King, Tate Sheridan, Elle Osborne, Sam McNair and CJ Shaw to name a few. On this occasion they will be joined by Julian Gonzalez (bass), Nick Keeling (trombone) and Jason Dempsey (flute) to perform music of Claude Bolling and Frank Zappa.
The SCAC Jazz Band are in their fourth year of music-making. Under the direction of Julian Gonzalez and Steve Fitzgerald they have performed multiple times at the Merimbula Jazz Festival, Four Winds’ Spring Youth Music Festival and at a range of school functions.
