About the Event
Michael is a California born, Americana Folk Troubadour who for more than two decades has made his home in Tantawangalo. Michael’s third collaboration, Line In The Water, with local music legend Heath Cullen, featured on the AMRAP Regional Chart and debuted on the EuroAmericana Chart in 2024. Michael’s lyrics cut along a philosophical edge, his style cuts across the musical spectrum from blues and swing to country and early rock n’roll, and his stories cut through the inner landscape of a poet and traveller. The Michael Menager Band also includes features Sats Kramer (electric guitar, acoustic guitar and vocals), Dan Efraemson (violin/mandolin and flute), Ashley Welsh Jones (drums), Dean Gray (pedal steel and mandolin) and Myoung Jae Yi (electric bass guitar).
