About the Event
Tutors include Claire Edwardes OAM (percussion), Lamorna Nightingale (flutes) and Jason Noble (clarinets). The musicians will work with local music enthusiasts to expand their concept of what it is to create original music in real time through structured improvisation activities all the while developing excellent listening skills. Come along and get excited about experimenting with and exploring sound in creative new ways with Ensemble Offspring!
Length: 60 minutes
Suitable for young musicians 18 and under who have some experience playing an instrument, especially percussion or woodwind – other instruments and vocalists welcome!
Genre: Contemporary classical, Free/Structured Improvisation
The Twyford Foyer Cafe will be open before and during the workshop should parents/guardians wish to wait for their student there.
