About the Event
The activation is aimed to improve awareness of safe towing practices and legal weight requirements for caravans and tow vehicles. By providing participants with personalised weight assessments and expert guidance, the program sought to reduce towing-related risks, promote compliance with road safety regulations, and support safer travel for caravan users across the region.
A correctly loaded caravan is safer to tow and less likely to contribute to vehicle instability, trailer sway, or braking issues. This FREE Caravan Weigh and Safety Check gives caravan owners the opportunity to have their loaded caravan weighed and assessed, helping ensure it complies with legal weight limits and is set up for safe travel.
Can’t make it with your caravan? Join our FREE 1.5-hour Caravan Safety Information Session on Thursday 24 September 2026 at Club Sapphire, Merimbula. 5.30pm - 7.00pm .
