About the Event
Celebrate the Humpback Highway with sightings from sea and shore, performances, exhibitions and music, and feast on local produce while whales play in Twofold Bay.
Held in and around the port, the festival embraces our maritime and bush heritage and celebrates with a huge party and fireworks on the Saturday night.
It’s the most unique whale watching experience the nation has to offer, and one that Australian Geographic ranked number one for whale watching destinations in Australia in 2014.
The whales can be seen in large numbers in the town’s stunning Twofold Bay, whether you are in a boat or on shore with a picnic of local produce. FIND OUT MORE.
