Chartered in February 1969, the Rotary Club of Merimbula has continuously supported the community.

 

From simple seats and bus stop shelters to improving the health, safety and wellbeing of the people in and around Merimbula, our Club has initiated and funded many local projects including: the establishment of Rotary Park adjacent to Spencer Park, the improvement of Ford Park, replacing the existing playground equipment with inclusive playground equipment; providing two defibrillators at key locations in Tura Beach and Merimbula; support and sponsoring of hand sanitiser units in shopping centres and supermarkets from Bermagui to Eden and repairing bushfire damaged sites around our communities.

The club organises a busy local monthly market on the third Sunday of every month at Ford Park, from 8am – 12:30PM, to benefit the community and raise funds for projects, it includes a wealth of treasures, produce & crafts,  creating a fun environment for all to enjoy.
